I think that watchng the open rehearsal was so revealing and fascinating, I really agree with Valerie and I was struck by the fast pace of the run, especially by how it seemed to reveal a certain city atmosphere. I also think it is interesting that the company is working with 1930′s film styles, because I think that the setting is so crucial to the story, and the stylization can help immerse the audience in the action. I also agree that hazel’s transformation is a really positive change, because she is becoming more life like and fulfilled with each new version of her character. I think that we, as young women, all noticed this because we want to relate to her, and filling out her character with more passion allows us to do that
